When you look at a virtual tour online, what do you think?
I’ve generally been disappointed by the traditional 3600 virtual tours which distort rooms and make them look long or, make it appear as if the ceiling and every doorway are arched. With things like the ipad and retina displays in our hands, couldn’t we do better?
The good news is that we can. Video tours are evolving in real estate as technology continues to change and offers new options. 
I recently started using the services of Helen Milley of Barrie Real Estate Tours. She uses a weighted video camera that gives outstanding, high-definition quality to videos that are not distorted and are just like walking through a home as one normally would.
Using remote microphones, the sound quality, when applicable, is great. They are quite different than what we usually see and I’ve been delighted with the results as have our clients. To get an idea of the quality, just look at this tour or this one and you’ll see what I mean.
